Candy-Pretzel Flowers

Pretzel Flowers 095

I made these adorable Candy Pretzel Flowers with my grand kids for Easter last week – we had so much fun. I wanted to share them because I think they are cute not only for Easter, but would be great for Mother’s Day, May Day, Baby Showers, or just as a great activity for upcoming family reunions.  They are super easy and you can customize your M&M colors to match any theme. (Single colors sold online or at Party City.)

All you need are some pretzel snaps (the square ones), candy melts, and M&Ms.

Kids in the Kitchen: Frankenstein Rice Krispie Sticks

As I said yesterday, Jocelyn and I have made a switch this week so I am the lucky one in Denver with her three kids.  Did I mention  it  is  also Fall Break here . . .  that means nobody is in school so we have all day to play!  No worries, I came prepared with my Pinterest boards and lots of fun crafts and activities.

These Frankenstein Rice Krispies were a huge hit with the kids!  There are lots of Frankenstein goodies out there on Pinterest, but we adapted ours from this Pin.  Of course some wanted happy
