Candy-Pretzel Flowers
I made these adorable Candy Pretzel Flowers with my grand kids for Easter last week – we had so much fun. I wanted to share them because I think they are cute not only for Easter, but would be great for Mother’s Day, May Day, Baby Showers, or just as a great activity for upcoming family reunions. They are super easy and you can customize your M&M colors to match any theme. (Single colors sold online or at Party City.)
All you need are some pretzel snaps (the square ones), candy melts, and M&Ms.
My granddaughters loved make them – and yes, they loved eating them!
Your kids will love this activity! A great idea for rainy days or craft days.
Candy-Pretzel Flowers
Ingredients
Pretzel Snaps (square)
Candy Melts (I used bright white)
M&Ms (I used the Easter pastels)
Directions
Arrange 8 pretzels on a microwavable plate. Place a candy melt on each pretzel. Microwave on High 60-70 seconds or until the candy is just soft, but not running over the pretzel. (My microwave took about 70 seconds).
Create the “flower” by placing one M&M (letter side down) in the center and then arranging 6 more M&Ms around it.
Allow the flowers to sit until the candy melt hardens. Store in an air-tight container.
Note: I worked with eight pretzels at a time so the candy stayed soft to work with, then I would heat another plate of eight.
