Asparagus Spring Salad


 
Fresh asparagus is always a delicious addition to your table;  this recipe lets the asparagus  take center stage as an incredible fresh and healthy salad that will work with just about any meal.  Crisp fresh asparagus mixed with yellow squash, tomatoes, and seasoned with olive oil,  fresh basil, lemon and parmesan.   The beautiful bright colors make it pretty enough to use as the centerpiece for your table!

Coconut Cilantro Rice

Nothing like a good early morning run to get the day started. I am posting so much earlier than normal. Now that is light early in the morning I can get my runs in and start my day.

Well, as promised here is a delicious tropical side dish that will make you feel like you are on a tropical island somewhere. Wouldn’t that be nice? It does pair perfectly with the Grilled Hawaiian Chicken.  So take your taste buds on a vacation, it’s better than nothing, right?  I will take what I can get.

Grilled Hawaiian Chicken

Oh grill, how I have missed you. It is finally that time of year, it is time to heat up the grill! I seriously miss my grill all winter long. I can’t wait for spring to finally come so I can actually open my back door and get to the grill. This is a simple Hawaiian flavored chicken that is ready to bring on summer! It goes great with a Coconut Cilantro Rice-and yes recipe coming tomorrow!!
