I’ve seen some recipes for pumpkin spice rice krispie bars floating around that sound pretty yummy – they involve pumpkin puree in your mix and I thought I might give them a try.  Then I was at the grocery store and saw these pumpkin spice marshmallows . . . seemed too easy, but why not?

I know this may seem a little odd to share at this time of year.  And I promise I have all kinds of “fall” foods waiting and ready to share, but then I decided that everyone, all year long, ends up with those over ripe brown bananas sitting on their counter.  There are a million things to do with those bananas like: Caramelized Banana Pudding, Banana Chips, Banana Pops, Dark Chocolate Banana Muffins, Strawberry Banana Frozen Smoothie, Banana Cream Pie, or of course Banana Nut Spice Cake, just to name a few.

There is already candy everywhere in my house. Halloween is still just over a week away and candy is already taking over. I’m not sure how this is already happening but it is frightenly a reality. I love a little sweetness every now and then {or a lot of the time} but sometimes I need something a little more sophisticated than candy.
