Banana Chips

Looking for another healthy snack option?  I know I always am.  I love snacks that taste great but are also good for my family.  I always tend to have extra bananas sitting on my counter, so what to do, what to do?  Well, banana chips are a great idea.  Giving any food a new “look” makes anyone want to give it a try.

Looking for other snack options:

What to do with all those Bananas:

Banana Pops

Monkey Bars

Banana Nut Spice Cake

Banana Chips

bananas (2-3 bananas will fit on 1 tray)
lemon juice

Preheat oven to 200 and lightly spray a sheet pan.

Slice bananas about 1/8-1/4 inch thickness. Dip bananas in lemon juice and lay in a single layer on prepared sheet pan.

Cook bananas for 2 hours and then flip over and cook an additional 1-2 hours. Cooking time will vary depending on thickness of bananas and varying ovens. Bananas are done when no longer soft in the center.
