Baked Pecan Pancake

Colder days are perfect for a hot breakfast.  Pancakes are always a favorite; but something just seems wrong when I’m the one standing at the stove flipping more cakes while everyone else is enjoy their hot breakfast {sigh} . . . no more, these Baked Pecan Pancakes allow everyone {including you} to eat at once. 😉

The addition of toasted pecans makes these pancakes extra yummy and perfect for the weekend or when you have a house full of company for the holidays.  I recommend you serve them with Maple Apples (pictured here), Cinnamon Apples, or Apple Cider Syrup

2013 Halloween Fun

Halloween is officially on Thursday, but this past weekend we had a lot of Halloween fun. Every year our church has a Halloween party that includes Trunk-or-Treating. We enjoy a party inside and to end the festivities we go outside and the kids get to trick-or-treat around the cars, hence Trunk-or-Treat. It is always a blast and the kids look forward to it every year. Of course costumes are worn and it is always fun to see everyone’s costumes each year. My three little ones as you can see went as a Black Kitty Cat, a Peacock and a Cowboy.
