Peanut Butter and Snickers Brownies
We have some pretty amazing peanut butter and chocolate combination recipes on Caramel Potatoes. One of my long-time favorites is Peanut Butter Bars {not a great pictures, but trust me -addictive!} They are my go-to recipe to feed a crowd. I love these Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Bars because they are so easy. This Chocolate Peanut Butter Chex Mix is also easy and addictive – watch out! These Peanut Butter Cup Cupcakes in Jar are just plain fun for a party. You just can’t miss with the brownie combo in Peanut Butter Frosted Brownies and Peanut Butter Brownies with Fudge Frosting and I can’t leave out this Peanut Butter Fudge Cake! I absolutely love Peanut Butter and Chocolate Snickers Cookies, but they take a little more time to make; however, that Snicker-Peanut Butter Combo is unbeatable, and since you can never have too many peanut butter and chocolate recipes, I decided to try for that same great combination in an easy-to-make brownie.
The result? Amazing! So much so that I now need to add a new favorite to my list! The brownie and peanut butter swirl is wonderful, but then the Snickers bars caramelize in the brownie to take it to a whole new level. Of course topping it off with more Snickers just puts things completely over the top.
So easy you don’t even have to pull out your mixer, and so amazing you’ll be putting this at the top of your brownie love list!
Peanut Butter and Snickers Brownies
Ingredients
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup cocoa powder
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups chopped mini Snickers Bars, divided use
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Directions
Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9×13 pan with cooking spray.
Combine the flour, salt and soda in a small bowl. Set aside.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar and cocoa until well combined. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture. Fold in 1 cup of the chopped Snickers. Spread brownie mixture into prepared pan.
Combine the peanut butter and powdered sugar. Drop by tablespoons onto the brownie batter. Swirl with a butter knife to get a marbled effect.
Bake about 25 minutes or until brownies are set in the center. Cool pan on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle remaining chopped Snickers over the top and slightly press them into the warm brownies. Cool completely before serving.
