Easy 4th of July Strawberry Sticks

Strawberry Sticks

Today is July 1st and that means on Friday people around the country will be celebrating the 4th of July. There will be picnics and barbecues going on all over the county and fireworks will light up the night skies. Hopefully, it will be a day filled of family, friends, good food and a whole lot of fun.

Every celebration needs great food, and these Easy 4th of July Strawberry Sticks are festive. Decorated in Red, White and Blue they are perfect for all those picnics and barbecues; or how about while watching fireworks.

Chocolate Strawberry Crisps

chocolate strawberry crisps

This is a simple go to Valentine’s Day treat that is perfect for anyone. Perfect to serve at a party or give as a special treat to that special someone, or even someone not so special. 😉 These can be done with any type of chocolate (I like to use Ghiradelli Melting Wafers.) and can then be decorated in any way or not at all. I promise these little crisps are delicious. I am pretty sure that I consumed more than I actually got done to photo.

English Toffee

Every family has Christmas Traditions – toffee is one of ours; no matter what other goodies are around, there has to be toffee for Christmas!  This recipe is my mother’s – we’ve been making it as long as I can remember.  I love it because it’s simple; no special pan, no candy thermometer, and you can make it in under 20 minutes from start to finish!  Don’t get discourage if your first batch isn’t just right – once you get the feel of it you’ll love it
