Corn Butter: 3 Ways
We are headed into the last stretch of summer – do you have plans for labor day? Maybe a last big summer fling? Corn on the cob is such a staple for summer parties and has always been my favorite. I loved picking corn out of the field and seeing it on the table for dinner. No matter how you fix it, grill it, boil it, bake it – these flavored Corn Butters will definitely turn that corn into a party! I’ve included three that will spice up your fun!
This is so easy and so yummy. Just mix in a few favorites – how about Cilantro and Lime, Cinnamon Chipotle or Spicy Honey Butter. Why choose mix up all three for a corn station. Be sure to make your butter at least an hour or two {even overnight} before serving to allow the flavors to mix and infuse. It’s also worth buying good quality butter – no skimping here! Finally, I also recommend you serve any of these corn butters with some crumbled Cotija Cheese and a little extra chopped cilantro. Now eat, and have fun!

Corn Butter Recipes
Cilantro-Lime Corn Butter
1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon lime zest
Mix until well blended.
Spicy Honey Butter Corn Butter
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Mix until well blended.
Cinnamon Chipotle Corn Butter
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
2 chipotle peppers in adobe sauce, chopped small
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
zest of one small lime
fresh ground pepper to taste
Mix until well blended.
