Red, White and Blueberry Sundaes

I think 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays.  First, it’s just a wonderful remembrance of all we hold dear living in this great country.  Second, there are no strings attached . . . isn’t it wonderful to celebrate a holiday without having to give gifts!  Just a fun-filled summer day to celebrate with family, friends, and of course, good food.

These sundaes are perfect for the occasion, especially for the kids.  A delicious and fun treat without any hassle {because you don’t want to spend your day in the kitchen}.  Start with a strawberry cake mix you can make ahead- or you could substitute strawberry ice cream if you want {even easier}.  Add your favorite vanilla ice cream.   Top it off with Fresh Blueberry Sauce and a few fresh strawberries; easy, easy and  everyone’s happy!  Use the clear plastic cups from the grocery store so you can focus on the fun rather than clean up!
