Triple Chocolate Swirl Brownies
Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons water
1 bag (11.5 ounce) milk chocolate chips
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup extra bitter chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Generously spray a 9×13 baking pan.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugars, salt, butter and water. Cook over medium heat until boiling, then turn off heat.
3. Stir in milk chocolate until melted and smooth. Mix in eggs and vanilla until incorporated, then add the flour and baking soda. When that’s almost mixed, add the bitter chocolate chips last and give it a few more stirs.
4. Spread batter evenly into pan. Melt the white chocolate in your microwave until smooth. Spoon some in all corners of the pan, adding a dollop to the middle. With a toothpick drag the white chocolate around in a swirling motion.
5. Bake for 18 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until brownies rise. You’ll see them start to crack in the middle.
6. Take the brownies out and let cool for 20 minutes before serving.
