Fudge Pie
Did someone say pie? Oh yes I did, and not just any pie, but Fudge Pie! Here you go chocolate lovers.
This pie combines the creamy goodness and flavor of fudge and walnuts in a pie crust for a delicious end to any summer bbq or holiday celebration. Watch out- it will disappear fast!
Fudge Pie
Ingredients
1 9 inch unbaked pie crust
2/3 cup evaporated milk
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 375. Microwave the milk, chocolate, and butter on high for one minute. Stir, and continue to heat in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until completely melted and smooth. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl whisk the sugar, flour, and salt together. Combine the flour mix with the chocolate. Add eggs stirring until just blended. Stir in the vanilla. Fold in the walnuts and pour mixture into prepared pie crust.
Bake 35-40 minuets or until set. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes before serving. I highly recommend a scoop of ice cream!

UH….YUM.
Think this would work with a graham cracker crust? 🙂
Julie – It probably would work in graham cracker crust, but it works beautiful in the pastry crust. You could always buy a pre-made one! Good luck, let me know how you like it!
Maybe I’m missing it but I don’t see where to add the chocolate/butter mixture to the rest? 🙂
Julie – Correction made! Thanks for the save!!
