Triple Chocolate Chocolate Chunk Cookies
I’ve been thinking a long time about creating a really wonderful Chocolate Cookie. Finally I decided it was time to put it all together and came up with the solution for the ultimate chocolate craving {you know those times when nothing but total chocolate will do}. If you are a true chocolate lover this cookie is for you! With two types of chocolate in the batter and white chocolate stirred in, there just isn’t anything not to love!
Triple Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 large eggs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
8 oz white chocolate, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 375
Combine the flour, cocoa powder, soda and salt in a medium bowl. Mix the butter with the sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla and then the eggs, one at a time. Melt the one cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave. Begin with one minute, then stir. Add another 30 seconds and then stir until completely smooth. With mixer on low add the melted chocolate until combined. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients. Stir in the white chocolate.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cookies puff and edges are set (don’t over bake). Cool on baking sheet for about 2 minutes and then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
Be sure to quickly hide a few in the freezer for your own personal stash – I promise, these won’t last long . . .
I LOVE chocolate! These are now on the top of my todo list!
Sounds like a Triple YUM to me!
Need to make these for sure
