Chocolate Chip Blondies
Who doesn’t love chocolate chip cookies? Especially warm out of the oven! Unfortunately, we all know there are times when life gets a little crazy and there just isn’t time to scoop out all those cookie balls and bake all those individual trays. No worries- these blondies have the same great taste without all the fuss {don’t you just love bar cookies}! Homemade chocolate chip cookies don’t get any easier than this . . . one bowl and you don’t even have to get out your mixer. These bars taste great and hold their shape well so you can package them up as party favors, cut them small for cookie trays and maybe even make up a batch for a special treat after the first day of school!
This recipe makes a 13×9 pan which is perfect for parties and lots of cookies, but if you have that chocolate chip craving and don’t want to end up eating them all, just cut the recipe in half and bake in an 8×8 pan {then you won’t have as much guilt if you forget to share with your kids}.
