Mango-Pineapple Salsa
It’s hard to beat the fresh taste of mangos. This mango-pineapple salsa is a favorite; it’s healthy, it’s easy, and it is so fresh tasting! Best of all it’s so versatile; you can serve it as an appetizer, eat it as incredibly yummy snack, add a little tropical flare to your salads, or top off your grilled meats and fish with it for a fresh summer taste.
For an easy summer meal, combine fresh salad greens, rotisserie chicken and the mango-pineapple salsa. Serve with chips and your favorite dressing {doesn’t get much easier than that!} Tomorrow we’ll feature a delicious combination of Sweet Shrimp Tacos with this Mango Pineapple Salsa.
This recipe below is a basic recipe; feel free to dress it up anyway you like. Add some fresh bell peppers, mix in some other summer fruits, or add jalapeno depending on how much heat you like! Make it your own and enjoy!
Mango-Pineapple Salsa
1 large mango, chopped small
1/2 cup fresh pineapple, chopped small
1/4 – 1/2 cup red onion, chopped small
2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
1/2 lime’s juice
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon chilli powder
dash of salt
Combine all – keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
I love Mango in any form – I will definitely try this! Thanks for sharing.
My kiddos would love this if I leave the onion out – maybe have to make two separate bowls… you know how it is with kids.
