Grill Bread
So maybe this isn’t the most complicated recipe . . . but I promise it’s one of the best! We love this bread on the grill; it could just be our favorite part of dinner! Think about a great dipping bread with olive oil and yummy spices-only now the spices and olive oil are grilled onto your warm bread – Yum, mouth watering yet?? {You’re gonna love it!}
Serve it up one of these variations below {or create your own} with grilled chicken, beef, pork or seafood to really top off your meal or add it to a summer salad for a perfect light dinner. Be sure to try the cinnamon and sugar bread for dessert!
Grill Bread
4-6 slices rustic bread cut into 1 inch slices on diagonal
4 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 teaspoon onion salt
1/4 teaspoon rosemary
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon parsley
Mix together olive oil and spices; brush onto one side of bread. Lay bread on grill. Brush top side with olive oil mix. Turn bread. Let each side get golden brown and toasty – YUM!
Garlic Grill Bread
Reduce onion salt to 1/4 teaspoon and add 3/4 teaspoons garlic powder.
Parmesan Grill Bread
Make as regular grill bread, then sprinkle each side with grated parmesan before grilling.
Cinnamon-Sugar Grill Bread
Brush each side of bread with olive oil and sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar before grilling.
Delicious with grilled fruit for a light summer dessert.
