Pepper Blend Cheese Ball

Lets just think ahead about Thanksgiving dinner.  Is there ever a gathering in the kitchen of hungry and impatient people?  I know there is in mine, so it is always best to have a few munchies out to keep the crowd from getting ravenous.  This cheese ball is great to have sitting out on the counter or the table to keep those bellies from starving while waiting just 20 more minutes {You know you claim this at least a few times on the big day}.  And don’t start thinking there is no way there is time to make one more thing that day. {I know you are thinking it}  You can make this a couple of days in advance and wrap it up tight in plastic wrap and keep it in the fridge until ready to serve.

And don’t forget all those holiday parties….This travels easy as well.  It is quick and it is so yummy.  It pleases the crowds every time.  If you are having a small get together just split it in half.  Either make one cheese ball or make 2 small ones and keep one at home for yourself.  It’s always good just watching a movie at home with your family.

  1. Oh my gosh I love cheese balls/logs… I love cheese in general 🙂 This looks wonderful. I’m putting it on my list of things to make for Thanksgiving. It can be pre-dinner munchie!

  3. Where do I find seasoned pepper blend? I love cheeseballs!

  4. You can find the seasoned pepper at WalMart or any grocery store. It’s in the spice aisle – not with the spices, but with the seasonings (like steak seasoning, etc.) Lawry’s makes one – there are other brands too. It’s a mix of black pepper and red and green bell peppers – Makes a pretty coating and the cream cheese tempers the heat – yummy combination and easy appetizer for the holdays! Enjoy!!
