Pecan Pie Popcorn
We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Now that the “big feast” is over, enjoy the leftovers and spending fun time with family and friends! This Pecan Pie Popcorn is a tasty treat for family movie night or for playing games around the kitchen table.
Make up a big batch and pass it around for a hint of the holidays combined your popcorn!
Pecan Pie Popcorn
Ingredients
7 cups popped popcorn
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup shopped pecans
Directions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Place popcorn in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
In a medium pan, cook syrup and sugar over medium heat, whisking, minutes. Whisk in butter and salt until thickened, 5 minutes. Drizzle over the popcorn and mix until coated evenly. Stir in nuts. Spread on prepared baking sheet. Bake at 250 for 20 minutes. Remove to a wire rack to cool.

I am thinking of making this as a Christmas gift for someone who is obsessed with popcorn and loves pecan pie. Did the butter make it soggy at all? How long would you expect it to stay good for?
The butter did not make this soggy at all – I would keep it about a week!
