Here comes Peter Cottontail . . . well not exactly, but here is a cute little addition for your Easter Basket! Add this bag topper to a couple of powdered sugar donut holes and you’ve got a yummy basket prize or a perfect party favor. We found the donut holes at Dunkin’ Donuts . . . you can check your local donut shops.

Another fun idea for the cottontail topper is White Gumballs (@Party City – they also have all white bags of sixlets that would be cute too). How about mini marshmallows, popcorn, white cheddar cheese-puff balls (@Sams) . . . mmm, all kinds of cottontail fun!

The bag topper fits a 4 inch wide cellophane party bag (we cut the bags down to 4 1/2 tall for the donut holes).

If you want to give a super-sized cottontail treat, Dunkin’ Donut’s Munchkin 24-pack of donut holes ($4.99) comes in this cute little box or you can pick up a box at your local craft store to fill with donut holes. We’ve made a bag tag that you can attach for an adorable hostess gift or teacher gift, etc.
