Spinach Salad

Bacon . . .  Apple . . . Parmesan . . . YUM!

Everybody needs a fabulous Go-To-Salad …

This is ours!  It’s easy, delicious, and everybody always loves it!

 Spinach Salad

Fresh Baby Spinach Leaves
Sliced Apples
Chopped Green Onions including Tops
Fried Crisp Bacon, crumbled
Sliced Almonds
Dried Sweet Cranberries
Grated Parmesan Cheese

Combine the above.  Add Dressing when ready to serve.

Dressing:

3/4 Cup Sugar
6 Tablespoons Raspberry Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Dry Mustard
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Dry Onion
2 Tablespoons Poppy Seeds
1 Cup Salad Oil

Combine the sugar with the raspberry vinegar and let set 10-20 minutes to allow the sugar to dissolve.  Wisk in the mustard, salt, onion, and poppy seeds;  add oil slowly until combined.

Note:  Be sure to add the apples just before serving so they don’t go brown.  (Once you put the dressing on they don’t turn).    The apples slices look wonderful, but if you are in a hurry or making this for a crowd you may want to just chop the apple instead.

You’re going to love this salad!
